Pieces from the feminist playlist

Ok, so these aren't necessarily songs that have a feminist agenda (some do!) but these are just examples of the awesome works that females are producing!

A classic from a while back, The Donnas "Take it off"
(Disclaimer: Some people might find lyrics like "Just do it, you don't have to ask" offensive, but what I like about the song is that they aren't afraid to express their sexuality and be forceful hard rockin' chicks! Love it)

 Regina Spektor, "Eet"
One of the most talented female artists around right now. Incredible pianist, incredible singer/songwriter, beautiful woman all around.

Florence and the Machine, "The Dog Days are Over" (Fabulous to jog too, but the clowns in the video are creepy!)

Kimya Dawson, "Loose Lips"
Kimya Dawson is so raw and real and genuine and unique and just awesome in general.

"And we'll pray, all damn day, every day,
That all this shit our president has got us in will go away
While we strive to figure out a way we can survive
These trying times without losing our mind"

Adele, "Make you feel my love"
Her voice is so haunting and beautiful. I love it.
