Codepink

I recently stumbled upon "CodePink" which is a women's anti-war grassroots organization. Hooray! It seems pretty badass. Here is a shirt they sell. Me like.

However, remember that it is always important to be a critical consumer of the information. I read on the website that they wanted to reach out to the Tea Party (They say they have common ground: too much government money is being spent on military stuff)....which I am skeptical of.  I am all for finding common ground with people.. but I am highly offended by tea party antics, and I don't think anyone should associate with them. CodePink also partners with the CREDO action committee, which I have blogged about before for having extreme rhetoric. Not a fan. HOWEVER it is pretty badass that their is a woman-based anti-war grassroots org. I dig.
