This just in! Obama is going to choose another woman for supreme court! THUMBS UP! AND she disagreed with the current supreme court decision about campaign finance reform! DOUBLE THUMBS UP and a WOOT! I don't know much about her other than that, so stay tuned! There is a rumor that she is a lesbian, which has been denied by the white house, but I kind of hope it is true! Give the gay community some representation in the government! I think it would be great! I also LOVE this clip from the Colbert Report that points out the Wall Street Journal (owned by Papa Bear Rupert Mordoch) printed a picture of her playing softball (Get it??? Lesbians play softball! Har har har!) And then in the New York Post (also owned by Murdoch...) they asked "Does this photo of Kagan make it look like she is a lesbian?" ...and put it right next to an article about lesbians playing softball. SIGH.

ReplyDeleteI only have one thing that sort of bugs me- I think that having a woman who is a lesbian in the court is totally wonderful... AS LONG as she is qualified for the job. At this point the government is in a very shaky position. Diversity for the sake of diversity- while good in thought, DOES need to be though through. I would feel this way about any candidate. I do feel this way about the people who I vote for or who are installed in a position by our representatives.
As you said, we don't really know much about her. I hope she is accepted! From your brief post- I like the sound of her!
