The Story of Cap and Trade

Well, I suppose the silver lining of the BP debacle is that it has us all talking and thinking about the environment. (Or for those of you who like to view the glass as half empty, it has us all continuing to be cynical, apathic, passive, and feel as though we have no agency). One thing that I have been thinking about recently is cap and trade. Here are some interesting videos explaining the problems that are inherent in the system. I am not extremely well versed in economics, so I can't fully commit to either view point, but I tend to side Annie Leonard, and not the people who will be making the profits.
