Domestic Violence

Is anyone else disturbed to see Rihanna doing a song with Eminem? Does anyone else remember this little ditty?

What the hell is going on? How are Rihanna's managers letting her be around such dangerous people? "Eminem" is dumb. You know what I hear all the time? "But he is a really good rapper." My response? "I don't give a shit. There are plenty of other people who can write a rhyme just as well, and BETTER, and aren't complete misogynistic asses." And I know this song is supposed to be like Eminem's apology......whatever. I think its bullshit. The lyrics say "I put my hands on her, I'll never stoop so low again" but then he says

"Next time I'm pissed, I'll aim my fist at the drywall
Next time? There won't be no next time
I apologize, even though I know it's lies
I'm tired of the games, I just want her back. I know I'm a liar
If she ever tries to fuckin' leave again,
I'ma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire"

And I think the whole song sounds like the begging of a weak little boy, who doesn't deserve to have any woman in his life. Rihanna owes nothing to anybody. I don't understand why she is on this track. It breaks my heart. This song is fucking creepy in my opinion.

There have been a series of lyrics in rap songs lately that have disturbed me....

1. "My Chick Bad" by Ludacris and Nicki Minaj:

"Now your girl might be sick but my girl sicker
She rides that dick and she handles her liquor
I knock a bitch out, and fight
Comin' out swingin' like Tiger Woods' wife
Yeah, she can get a lil' hasty"

Ummmmmmm..... excuse me????

2. "BedRock" by Young Money

"I'm attracted to her, for her attractive ass
and now we murderers, because we kill time
I knock her lights out, but she still shine"

Really??????????

What is going on in the music biz? Rapping about domestic violence is apparently cool now-days. Call me old-fashioned, but that is NOT ok with me.
