Satan's views.

So, on youtube they make "recommendations" for you based on things you've watched....and because I watched something about Sarah Palin, THIS video was recommended for me:



And.... I actually thought it was funny and clever. I know it was a big budget church thing...it has 60,000 views. Clearly this is coming from a mega-church, which I usually don't like. BUT I thought it was cool that they addressed the "Christians have to be republican and not drink alcohol." myth ---which, as a wine and vodka loving democrat and Christian, this is a myth/issue close to my heart! haha. AND I thought that the joke about Jesus drinking white zin was pretty funny. Everyone who drinks wine knows that Jesus would have a much more sophisticated palate and would probably prefer a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon.....only n00bs drink white zin. 

So I was like, "Maybe this is a cool mega church that is accepting of people!!!!" So I went to the related videos, and there was "Satan's sex ed." Perfect. This will be hilarious.



Hmmmm. Not so funny. This church video just told me that homosexuality is from the devil, and that masturbation is on the same level as adultery. They are both EVIL and from Satan, apparently. Christine O'Donnell called and wants her rhetoric back.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when they are preaching it at impressionable minds, and saying it is a matter of good versus evil, THEN I take issue with it.

Not only does this just make me mad in general....but it makes me really sad for LGBTQ people. Just thinking about all the gay teen suicides lately....its so sad....and you wonder why they feel bad about themselves??? Or why they feel helpless? Because of shit like this, that tells them that the way they are is satanic and evil. It's because of the discrimination from our schools and governments....institutions that are supposed to be fair and equal and are not. So sad.
