I know I take a lot of posts from Feministing, but I have been asking myself this same question, when I stumbled upon it on Feministing. Which made my heart skip a beat! Someone else noticed! Someone else thought about it! Someone else cares. Gah, I love that website! Anyway, Both myself and the lovely people at feministing want to know.... why are all the plus sized or "real" women always naked? At first, I was like "That is awesome!" I get it. You want to make a statement that plus sized or "real" women are just as beautiful and thus can be naked. But now... EVERY ad is naked. This says to me: plus sized/"real" women are not good enough for couture. Where are the "real" women rocking Gucci and Dolche and Gabbana???? Are plus sized women not beautiful enough for couture? Only naked?
